resource
A resource is something that is required to complete an activity. On most projects, resources refer to the labor, material, and equipment needed to execute the activity. On construction projects material and equipment and resources are considered to be on-hand when the activity begins. Typically there is a standard rate of use of these equipment and resources throughout the duration of the project. If, however, an activity relies on a the delivery of specific materials or equipment, then a new preceding activity should be created. This preceding activity will allow you to track this critical material delivery or equipment resource.
